Privacy notice
What happens to the information you send through a contact form on a website built by ljtech.
Who is responsible
The business whose website you were on is responsible for your message, and their privacy policy applies. Landon Johnson Technologies (ljtech), in British Columbia, runs this service for them and uses your information only to deliver it and to support their website.
What's collected
What you type, how you found the site (the referring site, campaign tags, and the pages you arrived on and sent from), and when you sent it. Card numbers and formatted ID numbers are removed before anything is stored or emailed.
Spam protection
Your IP address and browser details are used to block spam and limit repeat messages. Your IP address isn't stored with your message.
Where it's stored
Messages are stored securely and emailed to the business. ljtech uses service providers for hosting, spam protection, storage and email, which may process information outside Canada, including in the United States.
Your device
No cookies are used. The form keeps how you found the site in your browser's session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab.
How long it's kept
As long as the business needs it to reply to you and for its records. To see, correct or delete what you sent, contact the business, or contact ljtech and we'll help.
